You hit the concrete head first at rapid speed, and your neck is broken instantly. You were upside down, after all. At least you didn't burn alive. Your body and journal are soon both destroyed forever, engulfed in the intense blaze of the burning fuel. A month later, when survivors come along to make the base their new home, they scrap the remains of the plane and your body off into the wasteland, forgotten about forever almost immediately.
