Backyard Wrestling Tenure
Early Days (2008 - 2010)
Turner began his tenure as "High Voltage Hardie" competing in BAW (now HGEW), he was regularly featured on the card, usually feuding with JKH & Ryan Shadows. He would jump in and out of the main event scene for most of 2008, before settling on midcard feuds with other new stars. High Voltage Hardie portrayed the happy, loveable babyface who enjoyed thrilling the fans.
Chris Turner (2011)
With the return of HGEW, came a new gimmick, gone were the cargo pants and long sleeved t-shirts, replaced by a leather jacket, shorts and band t-shirts. The character born was Chris Turner, a new cocky heel, who is in alliance with The Crew with whom he seldom teams with.
