Backyard Wrestling Tenure
Early Days
Hardie has been wrestling for minor trampoline federations for 3 years before signing with HGEW, but does not consider any of them an official debut.
Formation of HGEW
President Payne, Alex Page and Hardie all joined together in February 2010, after discovering the return of UBW. The UKBYW scene appeared to be reforming and they decided to get in on the fun. They all joined together and have began forming HomeGrown Elite Wrestling. Chris Turner was created, a leather jacket wearing badass heel, with a cocky attitude, completely different to his original gimmick. He had his debut on the HGEW test day teaming with JKH against Ryan Shadows and Zack Arius, they were defeated.
