Origin
Steve and Ross Wrestling formed after the laborious and profuse amount of work, structuring, promoting and planning that was indispensibly neccesary for the promotion to kick-start and wind up as one of the most intercontinentally viewed internet-based backyard wrestling promotions in the world which began initially in 2003 and legitimately in 2006. Originally, another name was considered among Rosstaman and Steve Weezy and a name such as Backyard World Wrestling Entertainment (BWWE), however, since both were the faces that were to push the promotion forward, it was labelled Steve N' Ross Wrestling.
In the summer of June 2006, co-SnR Owner Steve Weezy paid visitation to his father in California simultaneously as co-SnR Owner Rosstaman constructed the SnR ring in Wisconsin with the assist of his long time friend, Jeff. In the completion of the construction of the wrestling base, Rosstaman uploaded an exclusive video of the base over YouTube meant for the observation of Weezy which averaged 1,000 internet views in a week, marking the official launch-off of the federation establishment.
In the return of Weezy in late July in Wisconsin, SnR organized the promotion and conceived ideas for an imitation federation of World Wrestling Entertainment, molding themselves under their watched professional wrestling stars on television but incorporating their own storylines. The federation was entitled SnR/WWE and they conducted their initial broadcast online over YouTube called SnR RAW. This sequence would follow through until April 2007, a period where SnR realized they wanted to launch their own product in differentiation to WWE as they abandoned the imitations, refreshed their image and wrestlers and announced the launching of SnR Wrestling, soon complete with a full gimmicky roster and took off from there.
The WWE imitation approach proved successfully beneficial as SnR had acquired the fanbase establishment they required and started producing their own independent online broadcast, SnR Meltdown. An official poll was conducted over the SnR website on the consideration of a new federation name, but the fans opted to remain loyal with the name they established themselves under as the SnR federation name procured the most votes in total.
The online promotion carried on throughout its first season and into its second when the ultimate question stumbled upon SnR. It was a deciding factor of preference, it as whether they should rather make the move to promote and host local shows with the exception of live internet shows or adhere to the supportive fan base that has trailed behind the federation from day one and proceed as a genuinely ran and founded organization endorsed by the online community. SnR preferred their online fans.

Fan Community
The fanbase of SnR have been majorly loyal to the promotion and its owners in Steve Weezy and Rosstaman. Few even consider it their equivalent of WWE or NWA or an inspiration that desires them to wrestle themselves. Joey Kovar from MTV's The Real World has also fanned the product. Many fans aspire to become an SnR star or host their federation's shows in the environment that SnR possesses. The most favored superstar in SnR is Rosstaman as several tend to morely follow behind him in preference to all other stars.
Music Production
Steve Weezy (Stevie Dub) and Rosstaman (Ross Quick) create their own hits under the label SNR Entertainment that are used for SnR entrance themes and events and are hosted on Youtube and Myspace for sale. Both have collaborated on songs and recently took to the stage successfully performing "Ima Do My Thang" at a tenthouse in Platteville, Wisconsin in front of a steady outside crowd. Steve Weezy is morely the ambitious one to become an Rap/Hip Hop artist in the future while Rosstaman wishes to join the Independent circuit.
