Background
Forging his name into the Australian scene through ITWA/WFE, Nero's blistering ring intensity quickly got him noticed by the local sydney based federations. He was booked at HWS's "Better birthday Bonanza where he faced Ruthless Ron and had his head burried 6 ft under James Synite's yard via Ron's Powerdriver. He was also invited to Auzfest IV, a prestigeous accomplishment for someone as young as Nero, it was at this show he forged ties with south coast based yarders, later he would be invited to LCWA's south coast fest where he faced Brynx. Nero was also involved in one of Australia's most controversial incidents involving Micheal M, where Nero was concussed by the right kickpad of M.
ITWA/WFE
Along with AC Nirvana and Stryda, Nero was a co founder of WFE (wrestling force empire)they later combined with other trampoline fed ITWA, forging one of the most popular young feds of their time. Even though trampoline wrestling is often frowned upon, Nero and the rest of ITWA/WFE became very popular due to faced paced innovative wrestling, using the trompoline as an advantage rather than a hindrence. It was through this federation that Nero was noticed, he also competed at the supershow held by the localised trampoline fed titled "trampfest" which attracted wrestlers from all over NSW, as well as Canadian import "Siege"
The South Coast
Nero only ventured to the south coast of NSW twice, but it was here that he showed his true talents at the widely popular supershow "south coast fest" On his first visit, he was a spectator of the LCWA event "its all wood" due to a knee injury, but was back with fellow fed-mate Ac Nirvana at South coast Fest, he faced Brynx at this event and caused one of the biggest upsets seen on the south coast defeating Brynx with "fate in motion" in what was seen as the highlight match of the event.
IYHWA
Nero was brought straight into the roster of the second IYHWA, competing in what is widely considered the best match of the return show, where he tagged with Adam Chunky to take on Ac Nirvana and Benny Slater, he picked up the win, giving him momentum into IYHWA's second show titled "8 deadly sins" (which was a follow up of the show a year earlier titled "7 deadly sins) it was at this event that many believe that "retired" Nero from backyard wrestling. A controversial incident involving Micheal M saw Nero knocked out and taken to hospital, Nero was not seen again until he made an appearence at IYHWA's tag tournament, he and underminer defeated Brynx and Nightmare, but was knocked out in the next round by Chris Cryptic and Ac Nirvana.
