In June 2007, the concept of a championship was first passed around by Cassias Chaos in GBYWN which was intended to represent the community. Chaos eventually proclaimed himself on YouTube as the GBYWN World Heavyweight Champion, despite not actually holding a physical belt. Shortly after departing from the community for personal reasons, the title went inactive for a year with dead interest to remain with the championship idea.
