The Global Backyard Wrestling News awards are the awards which have been presented within the community of Global Backyard Wrestling News (GBYWN), most notiably the GBYWN Year End Awards and was created in 2006 since the iteration of the community by GBYWN owner Cam. Originally, only one award alone was rewarded to a single federation until 2007 when the amount of awards given were increased. They were also first voted for in the forum community until a decision was made to have them exclusive to special personnel within to vote on and come to the final selection of the owner of the community. Arguably and controversially not exactly accurate due to the high volume and consideration of nominations, GBYWN strives to select the utmost correct winners for their efforts. The Featured Backyard Wrestler of the Month of November is Draven. Draven is an American backyard wrestler in Xtreme Street Wrestling and Wrestling's Future Athletes. He is one of the "XSW Originals" and is the first person in XSW history to become a Triple Crown champion, the first to hold all singles titles, and tied-1st for becoming the first ever Grand Slam Champion, when he and Rated R won the XSW Tag Team Championship. He is also the first person to hold both the XSW World Heavyweight Championship and the WFA World Heavyweight Championship. |

The Featured Backyard Federation of the Month of August is Round Lake Syndicate Wrestling (RLSW). Artistic and slight financial incorporation have become known to be exerted into the RLSW product. Coming from a federation constantly changing names and trying to find its self in the backyard wrestling genre, the federation has grown to possess one of the sport's biggest and most anticipated interpromotional spectaculars of the year notorious in the community as RLSW No Remorse. RLSW also remains one of the top federations going strong today. |
