The West Coast lineage agreed upon by the owners was never sanctioned, nor condoned by the GBYWN and was never acknowledged on camera anywhere outside of AWGP programming, thus the West Coast lineage has been declared null and void by the GBYWN. The AWGP, whom never hosted the West Coast version, still recognizes it as an official ICWS sanctioned title. Ironically enough, ICWS itself does not recognize or sanction the West Coast version, nor have they ever acknowledge such claims on camera. The current official champion is Dan Zeplin, whom won the vacated title to unify it with the ICWS & SPW Heavyweight Championships. |

History
Origination
In early 2010, Chairman of the Global Backyard Wrestling Nation alliance, Rad Hazard, sanctioned a GBYWN championship in Australia known as the GBYWN Australian Heavyweight Championship. At AWGP's SuperSlam event, Zac Shaw, one of Queensland Backyard Wrestling's longest serving roster members, defeated Crimson Genocide to become the inaugural champion.
Title Details
The physical championship belt was homemade by Atticus Floyd, originally used as the nWd Tag Team Championship and was to be the Pro Federation, ACWA's version of the Smashmouth Championship. The physical belt returned to active service when AWGP re-activated. In 2011, the physical belt will be the ACW version of the 'Smashmouth Championship'.
